Adelle Caballero, the traffic anchor for the NBC 4 New York programme “Today in New York,” is the subject of pregnancy speculation in 2023. With a career spanning over two decades in traffic news reporting, Caballero has been serving viewers in New York and New Jersey. Her full-time stint at NBC’s flagship station commenced in February 2022.

Prior to joining NBC 4, Caballero spent nearly a decade at NY1, where she was one of the first on-camera traffic anchors. In her role, she worked in unison with production staff, technical teams, and managers, contributing to the creation of their own round-the-clock traffic channel. She also covered significant events such as Hurricane Irene, Superstorm Sandy, and the 2016 Blizzard, alongside delivering special reports like those on New York Fashion Week.

Her exit from NY1 follows that of fellow traffic reporter Alyse Zwick and “Mornings on 1” meteorologist Stacy-Ann Gooden, who moved to WPIX. Now, the question arises: Is Adelle Caballero expecting in 2023?

Recent changes in Caballero’s physical appearance have led to speculation about her expecting a child. Caballero is happily married to Brian, and together they share a child, Aryson Brice Quitiquit, born on April 24, 2019. However, the recent pictures revealing her weight gain have sparked rumours of her pregnancy. As yet, Caballero has not confirmed these rumours through her social media or other communication channels.

Caballero’s career trajectory includes her tenure as a traffic reporter for News 12 Traffic & Weather, covering traffic conditions across the Tri-State area, and at Total Traffic, where she created traffic reports for several Tri-State Clear Channel radio stations.

Caballero is a strong advocate for community and believes in making a difference locally. She supports local groups and initiatives that combat human trafficking, promote mental health, tackle homelessness, and address food poverty.

Fond of travel, Caballero appreciates the cultural diversity of the Tri-State area and her own German, Romanian, and Filipina heritage. A graduate in broadcast journalism from Pennsylvania State University, she speaks Tagalog fluently.

She balances her professional life with her personal interests, which include reading true crime novels, creating homemade skincare products, and enjoying Rose Lattes and Cherry Coke Zero. With her husband and son, she resides in New Jersey.

Caballero began her journey with NY1 in 2010 as their inaugural on-camera traffic reporter. She thrives in the chaos of New York City’s rush hour, delivering up-to-the-minute traffic updates. She is well-versed in producing, editing, and researching material for reports. With a knack for live broadcasting sans teleprompter, Caballero continues to serve her viewers with accurate traffic updates.
